The Renacida Recap - Fall '25 to Spring '26
,
May 21, 2026

Since having my second child last Fall so much has continued to unfold in amazing ways. Here is a recap of the inspiring events I’ve had the honor to lead and support over the last few months:
September 2025 - I opened my free mom support group, Multi-Dimensional Mama (MDM) inviting more than 10 moms into the space. We meet monthly online every few months in person. I craft reflection prompts, book recommendations, and a special resource bank for all members hosted in our online portal.

December 2025 - I volunteered at my first Community Loving toy drive event at that month’s Free Store. My husband and I were assigned the very popular toy booth which we collaborated with other volunteers to get so many toys to many happy families. Our new baby made his first appearance to volunteer too! I am now a proud member of Community Loving and can't wait to create more love in our neighborhoods.

February 2025 - MDM met for our first ever in-person meet up. We visited the botanical gardens in Palos Verdes where we enjoyed a lovely lunch and walk to connect with nature.

March 2025 - I hosted my first ever resource event with Community Loving’s Free Baby Shower to support our local moms. At the MDM booth we handed out free Preparing for Birth books, specially crafted resource folders with the resource bank and special journal prompts, and unique “mama” bracelets. We also featured a photo opportunity to capture the memories! We got 16 new moms signed up for info.

April 2025 - I was invited to speak for a second time at the 4th Annual Reentry Conference hosted by Rising Scholars and Project Rebound IE Programs at Riverside City College. The conference highlights the transformative power of higher education in the reentry journey. In collaboration with Jared Villery of Anti-Recidivism Coalition, I presented on the power of expungement. We taught the audience how to build strong petitions using compelling storytelling and building strong client-advocate relationships.

April 2025 - In the second half of the month I hosted my second annual healing event, The Healing Chamber. This year’s theme was all about rebirth - how to navigate endings, beginnings, and transitions. The event featured a panel with Dana Aoudi, Too Zen, and Rafi Moses moderated by me; two interactive workshops by Aligned Design and Valerrie Joann, sound bowl healing by Sable Danielle and meditations also led by me. Attendees recieved freebies and resources created by Asia Hilario, The Medicine Women's Co., Kristianna Smith, and Analisa Velasco-Lopez, MSW, LCSW. This event, just like the last, was meaningful and unforgettable. This wasn’t just healing. It was revolutionary community building.

May 2025 - Community Loving published part one of a three part series in their community classroom authored by yours truly. In this series I teach the community about what it means to become a villager a to contribute to your village/community. Part three will be published June 1 and you can read the articles in the Community Loving newsletter.

I was invited to co-host a workshop on the expungement process and host one-on-one consultations at the Quest for Democracy in Sacramento hosted by Legal Services for Prisoners with Children and All of Us or None. I had the honor of collaborating with Legal Services of Northern California and meeting so many inspiring people. The people I met with said I changed their perception of lawyers for the better and that alone is a big enough win.

May 2025 - I returned to Riverside City College to host my third lunch n learn workshop with the awesome Rising Scholar students. This time I presented my signature exam prep course, Pathway to Passing. This program is usually a virtual, self-paced offering but I adapted it into an in-person workshop. We had a great time full of learning and connection. We learned about all the emotional and mental factors that are the root of common studying and exam taking challenges. We learned various causes and practical fixes before discussing strategy. Students said they wished we had more time to break these concepts down recognizing how important each concept is. This inspired my revamped Pathway to Passing five-part series which will become available later this year!

I have learned and taught so much during this time and I am excited to see where the remainder of the year takes me.
If you or your org are interested in working with me I will be available for small group coaching, speaking engagements, workshops, consultations, and guest writing starting in late June. Email me at tati@renacida.co to inquire!
With so much love,
Tati
